They want me to meet with five different people in four separate interviews, starting at 9:00 a.m. I’ve been told that only one other person is being interviewed for the job. O_O
Now I can’t wash my hands. Awesome.

Chris and I went to Montgomery yesterday afternoon to spend the rest of the weekend with my family. Mom cooked dinner, Chris bought me new shoes at Target (yay!), and then the two of us plus my brother went bowling. I am horribly out of practice, and that’s all I’m going to say about that. I got waffles this morning, followed by my usual post-waffles nap, and then Charlie and my dad went off to a gun show in Birmingham while mom took Chris and me to see Henry VIIIat ASF.
All in all, it was a good weekend, and I got lots of new reading material. It’s probably a good thing we’re both so tired now; Chris starts his new job in the morning. I don’t think we’ll have much problem getting to bed at a decent hour. :)
Chris and I went out to dinner last night after he got off work (11:30ish), and I stopped to check the mail when we got back. Jeremy, you did good. You didn’t know what day my birthday was on, but between your lucky timing and my only checking the mail once-a-week-ish, you managed to get your card to me RIGHT on my birthday. Well done, sir.
… that Chris and I were going to play air hockey, but the puck was a large capsule made of ice, and you had to put a small stuffed cat inside it.

I’m out of soda, and I don’t feel like going out to get more.
So instead of this:

I am this:

Yay! And also, I’ve never gone through so many steps for a job in my life.
I’m so tired, y’all. You can tell because I said “y’all.”
I drove back from Montgomery last night, went to see Chris at work (because he was stuck there until 5 am), came home and didn’t make it to bed until 2 or 3. I probably got about 6-7 hours of sleep, but I only got like 4 the night before that. But! I get to hang out with some of my favorite people today, so there’s that. I have to go finish getting ready so I can meet Lyndsey and Amanda (and her fiancĂ©) for lunch, then we have Kristin’s wedding tonight.
Happy Saturday!
I’m at my parents’ for the night, and it’s so wonderfully quiet. It’s never really quiet in an apartment. It’s kinda nice to have the place to myself. I’m filling in at work and taking care of the cats while they (and my brother) drive to Ohio for my grandmother’s memorial service. I’m sorry that I’m missing it, but a) they don’t like to leave the business at the same time, b) someone has to feed their cats, and c) I have a wedding to go to on Saturday.
Her ashes are being interred with my grandfather at the family plot. I don’t think I’ve ever been there, but I’d like to someday.
I mean, really. It’s AWFUL. The best we can get is 1.5 mbps from AT&T. ONE AND A HALF. It can take anywhere from 15 to 30+ seconds to load my dashboard, depending on the number of animated gifs on it.
Stupid small town internet.
