Want to hear me talk in a fake Southern accent? It’s your lucky day.
Edit: For the record, I AM a born and raised Southerner. I just don’t normally have much of an accent, so sometimes I fake it.

Day 21: Favorite Christmas movie—
I’ll give you two. I have a soft spot for Love, Actually, even thought I don’t really think of it as a “Christmas movie,” per se. But it’s set at Christmas, so why not. I think Elf wins out for my favorite, though. It brings back good memories of my senior year of college. :)

Damn.
Apparently, it starts losing effectiveness between 6-9 months. Guess that means I need more.

I’m curious.
Does bleach really need an expiration date? Is something actually going to happen to it? Or is “best by 2008” more of a guideline?

Literary Quotations on Subway Come to an End →
Train of Thought, the program that placed literary quotations from the likes of Kafka and Schopenhauer in the unlikely locale of a packed New York City subway car, is being replaced by a new promotional campaign from the MTA, intended to highlight recent improvements to the transit system. A spokesman for the authority said there was not enough space for both.
Nice.

I had to think about this one, but I’m going to say the year dad gave us our first computers. Stupid, temperamental HP Pavilions, but it was a start. :)

It didn’t suck nearly as bad as that “get to know you” woods retreat we were forced to go on. That was the worst.
Oh, dear God, yes. And of course everything was “mandatory.” If only I had THAT to do over again, I’d tell them to go fuck themselves.

Remember the night of our Huntingdon orientation party? That lion (this lion?) who wanted in on the action and was roaring like mad? I do.
All I remember about that awful party is the smell and the fact that it sucked, but I’ll take your word for it. Worst party venue EVER.

Waiting to hear from Ellie so I can plan the rest...
I need to bake things and/or go out and buy supplies for the rest of my Christmas presents. And mail something. In a perfect world, I’d also clean the house and unpack some stuff, but that’s just not likely.
